The Regent Offices and Business Centre - "Space to Thrive"

We have been busy again at Mako towers designing and producing a new identity and roll out for The Regent Offices and Business Centre which had it's open day the end of August. This was an unloved Edwardian building brought back to life with extensive caring renovation and beautifully transformed by the owner Joanna Kinch to create a fantastic Business Centre in the heart of Wrexham which has "Space to thrive"

We created the brand to reflect the buildings Edwardian past but with a new contemporary twist.

Colours were matched to the Edwardian era which were predominantly pastel shades but we wanted it to stand out so gave it a twist with vibrant modern colours and flowing typography.

We produced an illustration of what the building could look like months before it was completed.

The brand was then rolled out to stationery, web site, background templates and signage for the building. This included stand off cut out lettering onto white DiBond background, frosted vinyl on below stairs windows and reversed out frosted vinyl on upstairs windows.

Reception Desk - made by our good friends Black Iris Exhibitions. The  Power of branding 1!

Wall plaque - made by another of our friends, the master carver Simon O'Rourke. The power of branding 2!

We have also produced the wall graphics and door signage for the interior and offices including a montage board  with images researched from Wrexham Museum archives which shows the house on a street plan in 1899 and census forms dating from 1901.

We are so pleased how everything looks in The Regent and really happy that our client loves it as well. It really is a fantastic renovation and a great place to work in, so if you have any need of office space or meeting and conference rooms in a stylish and relaxing atmosphere right in the heart of Wrexham, this is the ideal place for you. We wish them every success for the future in their new venture!

  1. Fantastic! Amazing how the new has married in with the old to create a warm and welcoming ambience.
Plus I love the use of local expertise where possible.
