Well what a whirl wind four weeks, it's all Nicki Spindler's (
Little Bird PR) fault! It was just a normal network meeting in Chester (ProChester) which meets at different venues throughout the city monthly. I met Nicki and exchanged cards, not realising the consequences - Nicki had an idea and I was going to get sucked in!
"#EDiT is going to be the next big digital publication, a bridge between fashion and business," she said. So it had to be stylish. They had the articles, the interesting businesses and people with great stories to tell. They just needed a local high quality designer. Once I had done a 'PITCH' with sample pages it was enthusiastically embraced by Debbie Edwards (the other half of Little Bird) and we were off.
Anyway, 4 weeks, 30 pages, 132 emails in, 116 emails out, 60 hours artwork/design, 75 pictures, and 21 articles later, we had the first issue of
#EDiT. Which was launched last night in the fabulous Panorama34 Penthouse & Restaurant, Liverpool.
I was particularly painstaking over the typography and the little things such as the page numbers. So I was pleased to hear that most of the invited guests had picked up on this. I was very pleased with the end result.

So there we were on top of Liverpool's tallest building me and Ellen Parzer our very much scared of heights German designer. I think we partly fixed Ellen's fear of heights with the complimentary cocktails! What a great night, fantastic comments and universal agreement that the first issue hit the mark. We even had some lovely nibbles plus strawberries and cream, mmmmh!
