As a regular reader of "novum - World of Graphic Design" not only do I look forward to the interesting articles, trends and showcases of amazing work but also to the cover design. For each issue there are different things to discover, from different papers, print finishing techniques or illustrations.
And with the current November issue they've done it again. In 48 000 print passes and with 140 cuts per issue, six differently colored covers were created without re-exposure of the printing plate. The result? A cover that can be shaped into geometric three-dimensional figures, and thus invites to play. Just brilliant!! Here is a video of the process:
