Wrexham Science Festival brochure

Here is some recent work we have done for the Wrexham Science Festival 2011.

Welsh & English cover of the Wrexham Science Festival programme

This was a great project to work on, a 52 pg bilingual brochure showcasing the different events during the festival for both families and 'grown-ups'. We decided on a digital illustration for the cover to convey the variety of events and topics and to give it a fun aspect that is appealing to children and families as well. It was also important to be able to use the design on different marketing materials.

Don't miss out on this fantastic festival!

Fun Friday! - Part 4

Another busy week comes to an end - apologies for not posting much this week but somehow work got in the way...

However this doesn't mean we've lost our good spirits so here's an example of what made me smile. A bit older already, still....

"German Tuesday - Deutscher Dienstag" Part 5

We are all very fond of drawing here in the sharkden. And everytime I pick up a pencil I like to stick to my German roots and use Faber Castell. This year marks their 250th Anniversary as the company was founded in 1761.

Faber Castell had launched a new print campaign "True Colours" created by the agency Serviceplan which was awarded a "Silber Nagel" by the Art Directors Club Germany this year. So even more reasons to celebrate. I like the campaign as it shows in a humorous way the different colours of life.

So, let's pick up those pencils and get drawing again!
